Character Bio

 Bane is the only son resulting from the marriage between Karren and Darren Vorick. When Bane was two years his mother abandoned them while his father was on a hunt. Bane never found out why she left but Darren Vorick married another pack member named Salissa a year later and had a son named Kain. Bane is very protective of his little brother and cares a lot for him but usually hides it under a cold and tormenting exterior. When Bane was 7 years old his Salissa died as a result of a hunting accident and their father went into a depression and eventually led the two boys away from the pack to live on their own near the human settlements. Bane took charge when their father was away, to Kain’s dislike, and often bossed his little brother around though he mostly claims it was to protect them. When Bane was 23 years old they left their father’s home and roamed the wilderness for two years until coming upon the Lakewood pack. They helped defend the pack form some attacking rouge wolves but during the fight the brothers were separated. Bane, who had remained with the pack while his brother chased off a stray, helped chase off the rest of the rouges and returned with the pack. He was reunited with his brother in the pack and first met Hallow, whom he tried to dominate and prove his masculinity to her, much to her disgust. He gained high honors in the pack and became a high-guard. He has never really stopped trying to gain Hallow’s affection, though he thinks it’s mostly lust that fuels his affection.
